When you remove the battery from your lock, it loses its WiFi connection and cannot connect with the cloud. When this happens, your lock will show offline in the app.
To Re-establish a Connection With the Cloud -
- Using the thumb turn, extend, and retract the deadbolt one time.
- After a few seconds, your lock should no longer show offline and resume normal function.
