Android:
1. Open the Array app.
2. Select the lock you would like to set the E-Code for.
- You can set an E-Code for a specific lock by clicking on the "Place" the lock is registered under and then clicking on the lock itself. (proceed to step 3)
- You can set an E-Code for all locks registered under a specific place by clicking on that specific place (proceed to step 3)
- You can set an E-Code for all locks in all places registered to your account by going to the "My Places" page in the Array App. (proceed to step 3)
3. Select the options icon "" in the bottom right-hand corner.
4. Select 'Keys'.
5. Ensure that the E-Codes tab at the top of the page is selected and select the + sign, in the bottom right-hand corner.
6. Choose your E-Code. This will be a 4-6 digit number of your choosing or select "Generate Random" and the app will automatically generate a 4-6 digit E-Code for you.
7. Under "Description" choose your E-Code name. Ideally, this would be the name of the person you are creating the E-Code for.
8. Select "Key Access Schedule" and choose from one of the following:
a). Choose an Activate and Deactivate date: Activate > This is the date the E-Code will be activated. Deactivate > This is the date the E-Code will expire and no longer be usable. (NOTE - In order to choose a deactivate date you must first turn off the always active function.)
b). Choose "Always Active": This option is for the E-Code to stay active and never expire. Note: New E-Codes automatically default to Always Active.
c). Choose "Custom Schedule": This is where you can choose a specific time for the E-Code to be active. For example, you can choose for the E-Code to be active every Tuesday from 3:00PM-4:00PM. So any other time, this specific E-Code will be inactive.
d). From the "Create E-Code" page Choose "One Time Use" This option is for the E-Code to expire after after the first use.
9. Select the check-mark in the top right-hand corner and then again on the next page.
10. You should receive a confirmation page.
iOS:
1. Open the Array app.
2. Select the place or lock you would like to set the E-Code for.
- You can set an E-Code for a specific lock by clicking on the "Place" the lock is registered under and then clicking on the lock itself. (proceed to step 3)

3. Select the lock.
4. Click on the 'keys' icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
5. Ensure that the E-Codes tab at the top of the page is selected and select the + sign, in the top right-hand corner.
