Here is a list of basic troubleshooting steps you can try if you find yourself having problems with your Array:
1) Manually Lock and Unlock your Array -
- Using the thumb turn, extend and retract the deadbolt one time.
- Wait about 15-20 seconds and see if your lock resumes normal function.
2) Ensure you’re using the latest version of the Array app -
1st Method:
From the Array by Hampton app -
- Open the app and click on the "Me" icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap on Settings
- Click on About
- Look for "Current Version."
2nd Method:
From the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS)
- Open the Play Store or App Store on your smart device
- Search for "Array by Hampton."
- Click on the Array by Hampton app
- Tap on "About this app."
- Look for "Version.
If you are NOT using the latest version of the Array app -
- Go to the Play Store or App Store on your smartphone or tablet.
- Check for app updates.
- Update the Array by Hampton app.
Check that the battery level is NOT below 10% if it is -
- Please remove the battery from your lock and charge it fully.
- Put the battery back in.
- Using the thumb turn extend and retract the deadbolt one time.
- Wait about 15-20 seconds, and your lock should resume normal function.
5) Try power cycling your lock. NOTE: This will NOT cause the lock to lose its memory.
- Take the battery completely out of the lock for about 10-20 seconds.
- Re-insert the battery, and wait until you hear a beep; this means that the reboot is complete. You will then need to lock and unlock the deadbolt using the manual thumb-turn. The Array should then go back to normal function after a few seconds.
